Fuse Arts (an earlier CIC incarnation of the Mechatronic Library) hosted two evenings of newly commissioned contemporary classical music by acclaimed composers in support of the South London Gallery, one of London’s leading contemporary art galleries with award-winning programmes for children, families and young people. The compositions were written in response to a series of walks in Southwark and were performed by the Kreutzer Quartet and the Lontano ensemble with a special appearance by students at the City of London Academy, all in the unique Victorian exhibition hall of the South London Gallery.
